High Hope Daycare & Preschool was born from a single, powerful conviction — that the earliest years of a child's life are not a waiting room before education begins. They are education itself. Every laugh, question, friendship, and lesson learned in those first years shapes the person a child will become.

Located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, we provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children from infancy through pre-school age. Our team of certified teachers and caregivers work every day to support each child's unique journey — cognitively, socially, emotionally, and physically.

Born 7 May 1971

Frida Mkingule is a founder, an educator, and a mother — a woman who believed, long before any building was built, that every child in Dar es Salaam deserved more than ordinary. Born on 7 May 1971, she turned that belief into High Hope Daycare & Preschool: a school built not as a business, but as a mission.

Through sacrifice, faith, and quiet determination, she created a place where children are loved, challenged, and shaped into confident human beings — where discipline and warmth live side by side, and where every family that walks through the gate feels genuinely welcomed.

Her vision continues to grow with every child who graduates, every teacher she inspires, and every family that chooses to call High Hope home.
